Supersonic was the first club that I visited in Paris and there are so many reasons as to why I cherish it so much. Many clubs in Paris open late (compared to America, my home country) and have hefty cover charges. Supersonic was open at a reasonable time and it was free to get in! The venue looks sketchy from the outside, but the bouncers are kind and inside, the place is really comfortable and nice. They had a band playing live music, two floors to look at what's going on, and a really cool bar. Their happy hours were kind of weird (during happy hours, their beers are priced really well, but it ended pretty early) and the club closed comparatively early.
I'd recommend this place as a chill vibe/pre-game to get to see the city in a relaxing and introspective way.

We visited SuperSonic, located in the Bastille area of Paris, to see the band Sweat Like An Ape. The club is very intimate and offers great views of the stage. With a balcony seating/viewing area makes it more intimate, as the balcony literally puts you over the stage. The sound in the club is excellent. The bar staff friendly and courteous, and when you ask for water they offer you a glass of tap unless you specify bottled water. The bar offers a variety of drink specials that are quite unique, drink combinations that I was not familiar with, but they passed my test. I would visit Supersonic again. This is how all intimate venues for bands should be. Yes it holds maybe 150, but makes it so much better to enjoy a band, as opposed to fighting with other patrons to see the act. This place is the cats meow!!

Worth a visit if your in Paris.
This place has got really good atmosphere. It is free entry and has shows every day. Me and my friend ended up speaking to the owner as it was hard to find the entrance but a nice bloke and welcoming.
Nice place for live music bands. For free tribute concert , I recommend going there earlier than the opening hours otherwise you will be watching from the window outside.

It's a very chill place which has different events happening. I was on a David Bowie night for the first time. The reason I am writing the first time is because I would go there again for sure. On Mondays the have karaoke nights. Do go to the most top floor to enjoy a more chill area with jamming session of the visitors (it's cool if you know how to play some instruments you can always grab a guitar like my Friend did), there is Fussball, cheap drinks, very chill staff, a humble door keeper and a very cool Italian guy working there. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful venue with two floors (both of which you can see the stage from) with good vibes throughout. Good sound from the bands on stage (kudos to the sound guy). Drinks are very expensive, as you might expect from this area (€9 for a single rum and coke), but the venue is free to get in so I suppose that makes up for it. A great place to go to add to an awesome night out in Paris

Great for venues!
When I entered I had the impression that it was too little to host venues but I quickly changed my mind. The space is indeed very well organized (three floors) and also the bar service is very efficient. And when it comes to good music this is the place to be! Lots of tribute bands play here.

Best place to go dancing or enjoy an awesome free gig. If you're on a budget, come in before 23h (entrance is free before, 5 bucks after)
If I could take off half a star, I would because of the price of the alcohol which is a bit up there (even though it's understandable because of all the free gigs and parties they offer!). But it's well compensated by the staff's kindness and the overall awesome energy there is in this place!

Really positive vibes !
Good music, good people, good beer (well... the beer is cheap —from 18h30 til 20h — but not that good).

A name and an establishment that everyone has already heard of, to try to talk about it: The club is being renovated this year with a new team in charge and a renewed program.
Good atmosphere: the clientele is heterogeneous with a good state of mind, far from the have-you-saw atmosphere that reigns in the golden triangle.
Victim of its success, plan to arrive earlier to avoid the line. Come as a group of friends, good evening guaranteed.

Place paid 25 €, the bouncers did not want to let me in because I did not want to put my jacket in the locker room (jacket that was part of my outfit). The manager even came to meet me to call me a "tramp" and give me € 2 to pay for the cloakroom. In short, I do not recommend this very ill-famed club.

Description

Supersonic is the edgiest new spot to enjoy indie music in Paris. It’s the quirkiest place on this list, located in an old factory where natural moonlight melts into the warm colours of the club. With three up-and-coming bands on stage every night, rock-themed nights playing music from the sixties and Manchester, Britpop, new wave and indie rock on weekends, you’re guaranteed to have a great time. It’s also good value for your money with delicious cocktails and beers on offer for just 3.50 euros during happy hour as well as tasty hot dogs.
