We spent our two last nights in Athens in a place that you can call an urban paradise, it’s a must for us when we visit the city because it’s by far our favourite place, on Friday we had a great dinner, a super tasty grilled salmon garnished with a very fresh quinoa salad and some cocktails that you will love! after we attended Nick warren live session, the sound system it’s simply amazing, the clarity and strength make you enjoy the music a 100%
On Saturday we went again for dinner followed by Agent Greg live session, and this was something else, OMG!!! The food was delicious, great taste, moisture and balanced in every single aspect, we had amazing cocktails with our dinner to make it even better, as a special note I would like to mention the spotless service and how helpful and warm was Spiros the manager, Pantelis and the whole team, if you want it they make it happen! Thanks again to bolivar for making of our nights in Athens unforgettable.

Perhaps the best club/beach bar in Athens!
Excellent atmosphere, helpful staff,clean drinks. The location right next to the is majestic and the sea breeze it heaven in hot Athens
BUT ( there is always a but) . AVOID at all costs during week ends. Way too crowded for comfort or service. Visit during week days only.

Me and my husband came to the beach for salsa night and we had a great time there. The bar was really good and the drinks were great. We also had a pizza which was veryyyyyy delicious.
It is a perfect choice to spend the night dancing drinking and having fun at this beach as they have amazing parties and really good atmosphere!!!

I have been to Bolivar several fun times. It is easy to find and there is parking just to the right of the entrance gate which is convenient if it is not full. The setting on the beach, with it's fantastic tropical decor, takes me away from Athens as soon as I walk in, I feel like I am on an island. The music is always great, the cocktails are delicious and I end up tearing up the floor (dancing) until early in the morning.
If you have a large party of friends, book a table, you'll enjoy a seating place to conglomerate, other wise, you can always find a place to sit in the more general sections. Don't be fearful of the food, it is amazingly good! My personal favorite is their hamburger, so bring all your appetites and

You can swim during daytime, you can have coffee or food, and when the sun hides, you can have wonderful drinks and enjoy the music (mainly electronic).
You can also lay down on the sand, until the morning.

Damn racism, everyone, even schlubs let in, I get stopped with the good ol "you have a reservation?" Line by the dark haired younger lean build bouncer, but just like #fratelli in Romania, none of the other people in line were asked about their "reservations." Security douche says "with no reservation you're not getting in. Tonight is private party." I double check the site for the requirement and nothing. I call and the girl who picked up, Artemis, was night and day-- so friendly and helpful! Enthusiastically she tells me and no rsvp just 10€ and that includes free drink & to have a good time.
The security douche didn't notice me back in line and I was in, albeit my mood was already down from the selected rejection and puzzled about why that bouncer decided to select against me. People had tshirts, jeans, trainers...
Idk my non-Greek? Stag? My beautiful brown? Ah I've seen lots of dark skin Greeks... but none were there. Hummm. He think I was gonna pickpocket customers?! The pickpocketing physician... right.
Management should have a convo with bouncers or explain why I was told the above and others weren't even asked!

We came last Tuesday with a friend and we enjoyed our time. Everyone was helpful and nice, especially at the entrance.

Went on my first night in Athens, and had a blast. This brach club is conveniently located just about 30 minutes from downtown Athens which makes it perfect. I went at night but the beach area was very well maintained and they had a lot of inflatables on the water.
We said we were going for dinner and did not had to pay cover fee -but beware from trying this to not pay the cover-we were greeted by beautiful male and female hosts, provided with a few free promotional items and escorted to our table were a waiter was waiting on us. Food was surprisingly good, freshly made and with a beautiful presentation.
After dinner, the DJ was starting to gather a crowd and we wanted to join the party. There were several lounge areas on the sand, but they all had a "Reserved" sign. I asked a waiter and we were promptly allowed to seat. With the purchase of a bottle they bring all the mixers plus light bites. If you are a party of 4, just go ahead and order a bottle.
The DJ was great, and the crowd was full of energy and ready to hit the dance floor. I danced barefoot with the entire world there. The club is entirely open air but has several dozens of lasers pointing to the beach, the sky, the building, plus light system towers that make the scene super clubby.

Always happy to visit this place.
The music is nearly always the one I admire the most, the area is exceptional and the whole beach party concept is always the best solution for a perfect nightout with friends or with your other half.
Prices are good, staff is very friendly.
You might find one of the best DJs in the world if you visit it on summer Saturdays.

Its a great way to enjoy the beach in Athens. Good music, good food and a beautiful beach. Food is priced about what you would expect from a popular beach destination. I payed €15 for this octopus salad which was delicious. The local beer was €4, and a hookah was €15. Staff was attentive, and washroom facilities are nice and clean. Showers available and lounge beds for rent.
