De School

The cafe, restaurant and club are all top notch! Everything about this place is world class. The staff are amazing and the design of this repurposed school is slick as hell. A must visit for anyone trying to get out of the city center and see one of the other spectacular sides of Amsterdam.

Although some people might know De School from techno parties, it's also offering a delicious and original dinners serving 3, 5 and 7 dishes. Considering it's a fine dining type of experience, the prices are quite reasonable. In fact, we were surprised by quite a few extras and we were served probably 10 dishes instead of 7. All of them were on a pretty high creative level. Friendly and casual service were a perfect addition.
I would reccommend to anyone looking for a more original food experience. In my opinion, that's a very unique place in Amsterdam.

This Club is 100% recommendation for people they like to dance, they need awesome sound and everything without stress. Pure Energy on the dance floor... enough space to rest, fantastic Art rooms and the atmosphere is unique.

That place really was a blast.
First the industrial setting, cool atmosphere and the story behind the place: an earlier technical school that closed and that was transformed into a social place, with restaurant, café, club, and offices that artists and entrepreneurs can rent to work. Design Lighting is courtesy of some in-house artist collective.

Then the delicious food: no need to choose, it s all set menu and the staff will kindly accommodate any allergies or the like. No set wine menu but there again, the staff recommends some wines to get along with the food. All in the dishes was right: taste, texture, display and size.

Lastly, staff is pro, dedicated and laid-back. They introduce every dish in a nice way, seem committed about the place and happy to be there and guide you in your experience.

We truly had a great time, strongly recommend to book in advance.

Fantastic experience. Original and tasty food with a great service and attention to details. I would totally recommend and in the case of special occasion like for us for a birthday, if informed trust them to take extra care of you and your guests.

I would say is my favorite club in Amsterdam. Besides having really nice DJs always there, the club is inlcusive to all people. Price is also okay and everyone is just looking for a good time.  Be kind and you will have an awesome time for sure :)

Always a pleasure to be here! Great food, relaxed vibe. Welcoming proffesional staff. Maybe they don't do everything perfect but to me its my favorite place for diner, drinks and partys!

Very nice Nightclub. Good If you like to move your body to Techno music on a dark dance floor. There is also an awesome Sound System implemented. All the people there were very friendly

In principle a nice club for electronic music. However, during my visit there were some problems: 1. Very long waiting time (over 1h30) 2. The crowd wasn't really focussed on the music, there was a lot of talking and not enough dancing. They should really change their door selection and base it more on the music.

The sound system is the only good thing about this place. Not enough toilets, always full, smoking area is way too small and you’re not able to breathe there. The lights on the dance floor are too bright and it’s way too hot to dance. Club is full of drunk tourists and guys that come there just to hit up on girls. Some of the bartenders have an attitude, as well as the “doorbitch”. You have to pay €2 for your locker but if you open it you have to put €2 again. Don’t recommend at all.

This place is meant for rave. Underground club with dark, smokey room. Full bar with cheap drinks. Average sound and light system but most importantly, the people around you are great.

Worst experience in Amsterdam, expensive, issue with the lockers if don’t have a bank account from Netherlands, at the entry they took our tabac in case it was weed. Music is great but the club isn’t.
