OT301

Ok, so, the toilets are smelly, the smoking area is like a suffocating cloud and the attic is as hot as Michelle Rodriquez, but realize that this is the definition of Dutch underground. Over the last few visits to OT301, i've been exposed to phenomenal obscure music (ie Japanese shoegaze bands with 50 youtube plays, all from their parents), new and upcoming biologically made drinks (nowadays vegan!) and people filled with stories to tell to any passerby, willing to listen. Plus, it's relatively cheap. (entrance fee; free - 10EU, drinks around 3EU, joy approx. free)

Great venue - good systems - good sound - good room to skank out - nice artwork - perfect venue if you are used to 'alternative' things at home.

Bar prices ok - chill out area - smoking now not allowed in main room anymore - addition of second room was fun this year

If your kind of music is going down here and your in town make the effort

OT301 is such a cool place. A lot of awesome events take place here, you can check all out on their website. Everything from gigs, dance nights, parties, movie nights, theme nights with movies and dinner.. There is also a vegan restaurant inside OT301.
The building is huge and it used to be squatted. Now it is legal but it stills feels like it is squatted and it is all kinda alternative; the people, the music and just the look of the place. If you are going to watch a foreign movie here, just know that the screen is very low and that you probably will not see the subtitels at all because of people sitting in front of you. This is so terribly annoying that I will give 4 stars instead of 5. It could ruin your whole movie experience so keep it in mind (recommend sitting on the first row.).

Almost an underworld place due to is hidden place. Theres no big advertising boards outside and you need to enter in a building than an open garden and then in another building. The music there is metal, punk or similar. People there are nice. Dress code match the music style with a lot of people dancing in the music. They just accept cash here, no cards.

Great alternative cultural space based in an old film academy on several floors. Be sure to check the agenda online before as various events take places almost each day of the week: drawing session, techno parties, ping-pong nights, movie screening, art markets, etc... The staff is lovely and drinks are cheap!

place is original and must see but the neighboorhood is quite anoying and the physio at the entrance quite anoying as well... he broke one of my belonging while searching me and did not even bother to appologies... apparently manier is quite overrated for them, too bad ! no hard feeling as rest of the staff were nice, so i ll try to go back one day for the Cinema who looks super dope !

Nice alternative venue where you'll find anything from indie band performances to psychedelic raves and cult film screenings.

One of the most special places in Amsterdam, a self-runned cinema, workshop space and vegan restaurant. Great vibes and a sense of community everywhere, they host the international queer and migrant film festival, I cannot recommend it enough.

Interesting, alternative place. Good bar and they have a coat facility for events. Pricing is unfair: a scarf was charged as an additional item, so rather than just paying one euro for a jacket, the scarf was also charged one euro while hanging on the same single clothes hanger.

Very interesting to see. I didn't get to party there but i really enjoyed the old school but now a club theme. :D they have different partys old the time u need to check the schedule before.

Really cool place. Fun for night parties, sure, but they also offer lots of different classes and workshops. Including (adults and) kids' sports classes. My children are doing Aerial Yoga (silks & trapeze) with Monika @ youth circus ot301 --> I cannot recommend her highly enough!!
