Fun! The line to get in was super long though. I probably waited in that thing for like 40 minutes. It's not much of a line though, more of a blob. I wish people knew how to line up in a single file line here. :(

It's pretty cool inside. Not cold though, it's actually kind of warm inside due to body heat. It's pretty dang crowded in here. There's two rooms, the upstairs dance room and a downstairs dance room. I liked the red theme of the downstairs room - red lighting and red wall decorations making everything red. Music wasn't blaringly loud, and was what I expected for European EDM - mostly progressive techno. Danish people don't seem to go wild and dance, it's more of a bobbing.

The bathrooms are kind of crowded and gross though.

I met a group of Asian foreign exchange students and hung out one of the girls for the rest of the night.

Warning: Using a credit card will incur an extra 3% fee or so, even if it is a no foreign transaction fee card.

I'm about 10 years too old for a place like this, but I went out on the Copenhagen Pub Crawl and we ended the evening here.  It was pretty much like any other club I've been to in big cities.  Dark, EDM music, faux smoke, overpriced drinks, people getting trashed. But, the bathrooms were nice in that it doesn't seem to be a thing in Europe where you have bathroom attendants awkwardly hawking for tips by handing you paper towels.  (Which is funny, because you have the WC attendants and/or must pay to pee practically everywhere else in Europe.) I had fun with the people I was on the pub crawl with, until we were no longer having fun and left.  Not much more to say than that.

Absolutely awful. The bouncers won't be honest with you if the place is busy or not, but when you pass that and pay an enormous cover to get in you will be welcomed with a smell of urine hitting your face when you first enter, followed by smoke. The floor was wet all over the place which makes you wonder if people actually urinate on the ground, because they seem to be doing everything else there as they please. If you don't mind being groped, having drunk people hanging on you as you stand or attempt to dance to the poor and worn out speakers in almost complete darkness. It's an unreasonably trashy venue filled with equal standard of people.

Definitely not to recommend for tourists, don't understand how they have such a good rating. Just a meet and greet for junkies.

The only club with underground music line-up every weekend.

Big names do come sometimes, if you’re lucky...

All smooth and nice.

We had an amazing night! Absolutely one of the best places to be if you want to have a great night! The right setup, right people, right management, just great!
Sofie is one of the coolest managers that I’ve seen in my life, just like the rest of Culture Box experience she made sure everyone was ok and everything was ok. I am so grateful for the beautiful memories and can’t wait for the next event!

it's a little gritty, but it adds to the authentic underground feel of the place. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of techno and tech house, never straying from the red room. I do miss the "free pours" of mixed drinks we get in North America, resulting in generous amounts considering the cost of door + coat check + liquor, but I guess we can't have it all.
Having been to various techno clubs and festivals around the world, I have to say that Culture Box holds its own. Kudos

I really liked going in this techno night club. They have well being rules that you have to accept to go there, which are good for having fun and feel safe. It’s 150DKK to enter in, but that’s because we need to pay for the artists performing there (not compulsory to buy drinks). There are many lights that are played in harmony with the music rythm; that is really cool ! There are two rooms the black and the red, so that you can choose who you want to listen to. You can find artist playing there for a given date on the website.
If you don’t want to be in the crowd, you should come for before 1am, but otherwise you can dance here all night long until 8am (on Saturday’s).
I recommand without hesitating !

Very nice venue on two floors. The entrance was pretty high with 22€, but the drinks are ok for CPH. The audience is mixed but many hipsters, like in every good club in Europe.. people are friendly and respectful aaaaand handsome ;) sound was stunning this night. I ll come again

Music was quite nice - on Mediocre sound system though. The audiance was super weird. A lot of peaple you would rather expect at a top 10 club night than on a techno rave. Girls wearing high heels, gym-bros wearing tight shirts and gold chains. And lot of people more busy with getting extremely drunk and snapchatting than actual dancing

Very nice club, very cozy! Had lot of great expirences here, they guys who made this place know what there doing! Its for techno fans nothing else. Sounds system and acoustic is great, I've been to many clubs and gotta say that its definatly the best techno club in Northern europe. I've believe its berlin inspired and the creators took care in creating a great expirence for clubgoers.

Culture Box is Denmark's regional venue for electronic music and one of the country's most prominent nightclubs.

On weekends and holidays, the nightclub always has a solid line-up of international and local artists from the underground.

Culture Box is divided into three compartments. White Box is the pre-clubbing bar, Red Box is the intimate lower floor, and Black Box where the biggest names play on the massive sound system.

The music ranges from electronica, through bass music, to house and techno.
