Plastic meets Reggaeton meets overpriced drinks. Music is just mediocre and the atmosphere is not relaxed. They are charging you for your clothing at the wardrobe. Don't lose your card they give you at the entry, some people had to pay up to 150€ because they lost it. Would only recommend if you are into wasting your money and listening to a Sean Paul 2003 playlist remixed into cheap 2014 house songs. It is 2019. There are better clubs in Lisbon.

Didn’t have the trouble that a lot of people have posted on here but can easily see how this could happen. The card service was ridiculous and the table service was very poor. That being said there was a great atmosphere once in. Good music and good crowd.

I do not understand all the negative reviews ... even if the conso system is very bad: you have a card and if you lose it you have to pay € 150 to go out. In addition to that you pay no conso at the bar, it is only when out of the sudden you can quickly get you, and you must pay minimum 30 € of conso (7 € my vodka and 4 € the half beer) . In short if you manage this system well and you are ready to pay € 30 the experience is great: it's outdoors, there is good music, a lot of atmosphere etc ... well frankly it was a serious good experience I advice despite the price! ;)

Expensive and Terrible System
The music here was the only good thing about it. The system of paying is really stupid and annoying and drinks are too overpriced.

Lust in Lisbon!
I've read some of these previous reviews and am very surprised at all of the negative reviews and apparently aggressive staff. My friend and 1 visited a few days ago and did not notice any sort of unfriendliness or racism. In fact - there were so many mixed ethnicities in the club that I am surprised people apparently got refused entry - there were Black, Vietnamese, White, and we are South Asian. Anyway - music was AMAZING. A true RnB and Hip Hop club. The DJs really know their music. The setting was beautiful - simple and classy decor set overlooking the river. Clean and open space with plenty of room to dance. Bar staff were efficient considering how busy it was. You can't complain about a big club being overcrowded?? It just means it's a good place to be. Payment is at the end so yes you can get carried away with how much you are spending overall as you have an individual tab for the night. You are given a card upon entering and you get it stamped at the bar each time you get a drink. At the end of the night my friend and I forgot about our cards and tried to walk out - security directed us towards the back where you pay. Staff were friendly and efficient - no problems at all. I will say however, I don’t actually know how much the drinks cost etc - we paid a total of €60 each for the night, and we had 4 drinks each. That - to me - is very reasonable for the type of place it is. If you are looking for a night out on a budget, this isn’t the place to go. Dress code - smart/dressy. If I'm ever in Lisbon again I will 100% go back! Miles better than the overrated Bairro Alto and Pink Street

A place to avoid
Rude staff starting from the security, going through the bartenders and until the cashiers. I went to the bar to order a drink and the bartender was talking to his friend, who was outside the bar. I ordered a beer and he took almost 1 minute to give it to me, holding it on his hands and chatting a lot with his friend. On the second time I went to the bar I was unlucky to be served by the same guy. And he was still talking a lot with his friend and holding my beer opened and taking a lotta time to give it to me. I called him and asked for my beer, then he turns to me looking very angry and says "I'm gonna give you this beer when I want to!". I got really frustrared and took my beer and got away without even being thankful. I'm still trying to understand what's the point of such attitude. I don't know how a place like Lust in Rio is still running.

Most of the time they reject you by telling you ''this is a private party tonight, where is your invitation?'' which is clearly a lie. I did manage to get in once though and it was a blast. And if you reserve a table, they'll treat you like a king (which is a bummer for people who don't reserve a table...).

Only good things to say about this magnificent spot. Super competent and professional staff, atmosphere and sense of security of the best that you can see at night, people revolve and lots of fun, make this a place to return with absolute certainty.

For me,the best house now in Lisbon.Good and friendly staff - security really works! beautiful people and great structure mainly in summer.
The localization helps, for be closer Cais do Sodre and main points in the city, the park is big and for me,the most important, music! You really wants to move your body, haha.
PS- The view in summer is amazing, with the river and bridge.Recomends be there yet daylight.

The club is ok. The crowd is teenagers before 2am. I recommend going after 2 on Friday. There are two music sides which offer options. In VIP local nationals are allowed precedence over Tourists, and can kick tourists out of sections without the staff intervening. The staff are nicer than the patrons. Especially if you're spending over €110 as a starter.

Hard as it may be to believe, I was assaulted by the 'security' staff at Lust in Rio in an attempt to extort money from me.  If you are traveling to Portugal or local to Lisbon avoid this establishment at all costs.  I arrived with a group and we paid for both drinks and cover charges, but on the way out the door the 'security' staff sought to extort additional funds from me.  After my friends walked out, they physically grabbed me and demanded additional payment.  When I said we had paid, and I didn't want to be separated from my group, they threw me against a wall and beat me to the floor, leaving abrasions on my head and back.  A one star review is certainly insufficient to communicate that physical assault and extortion are not an acceptable business practice.  Do not expose yourself to this risk.

After couple weeks I'm still having disgusting gut feeling! Do not enter it's a trap.  They got dum free drinks with a card system.  Which they never provided detail that they need that stupid card back.  The guards won't let you leave.  I had to pay $60!!  it wasn't even a happing spot.

Good music!! However, the system for payment is odd. When you go in, you are given a card! Every time you buy a drink or beer, the barman puts a stamp on it. At the end of the night, you must pay , the fee depends on the number of stamp you’ve been put. Even if you dont drink and dont use the card, you lose it, you have to pay 150€ which is absurd. You dont even have the choice to refuse the card for safety.

Me and my three friends entered this club to finish our night out in Lisbon. Admittedly we were all under the influence of alcohol. We were given cards on entry and didn’t pay an admission fee, we didn’t even question it we just wanted to dance.
We bought three drinks,  danced and then attempted to leave.
I paid for myself, my friend paid and the third girl couldn’t find her card. The girl at the tills was unhelpful and obnoxious. She told me if i couldn’t find it it would be 150. No explanation given as to why , that was that. An OBSURD amount of money to leave a club. I went back to the exit to find my friends , who were negotiating with bouncers. Then a bouncer took 20€ off my friend to let her leave, but in the meantime I didn’t know this and when we tried to leave together, we were held at the door. Refused exit.
We paid the 150 as we had no choice.
It was a frightening experience. We felt like criminals and completely vulnerable in a country that was not our own.
If there was something special about the club and we entered a VIP area then maybe 150€ is justifiable.
Horrific experience. Do not waste your time.
Okay hat was otherwise lovely experience in Lisbon was let down by this nightclub.

Avoid Avoid Avoid !!!!!!! Me and my girls went there hoping to have a great time but unfortunately it was such a waist of money and time. They force you to spend 25 Euro for nasty drinks for which you have to queue (they only have one bar because why would you have two in the club). Horrible music, DJ was playing music which included recorded cheering because he was so bad. Such a poorly managed club !
