Awesome and unusual spot on the Seine! Good music!
Really good music everytime, some incredible line up!

Entrance is free everyday starting 6pm !

You can sit around on the boat deck, have drinks, play table soccer, watch the Seine while a DJ plays music. Then, after 11p.m you can go clubbing inside the boat.

Club prices are totally affordable compared to Paris's nightlife!

Plus people are super friendly and the mood is super chilled out !

We wanted to do something different one night in Paris so we asked around and had Batofar recommended to us. Different it was, it is on a Barge on the River Seine and doesn't look particularly attractive from the outside. If you get there early you can feel the gentle rocking of the barge as other boats go past, if you get there late you hear or feel nothing more than the booming music, I think I am better suited to a more mature age group.
It is a very popular night spot for people who like to dance, you can nip outside every now and again to cool down and relax.
Drinks are reasonably priced for a place like this.
If you go to this place drink dance and enjoy yourself but don’t go over the top the door men are like military police and won’t take any nonsense from drunks, we saw a few people being escorted off the boat for unruly behavior, what I can say for the doorman is that they are selective to which side of the boat they eject people, it is always to the land side which is a blessing for the unruly none swimmers.

I've been living in Paris for a while and the Batofar is really the place where I feel the most at home. Relaxed atmosphere, laid back dress code, friendly staff and, above all, quality music. The choice is quite eclectic so you better choose your night if you have a favorite style. Me, I've been to superb drum and bass or electro sessions. At the early hours of the morning, you realize it's a boat when you suddently see the Seine river appearing through the portholes. Brilliant.

Went there in the evening only to find out that the boat had moved. I was unhappy as it had ruined a perfectly planned out evening having drinks with my girlfriend on our last night in Paris.

Went there on a Wednesday night in February, so we didn't exactly encounter the height of nightlife, but the drinks were crazy expensive and the music was pretty horrendous. Not great service either. Maybe it would've been a better time on a Friday night in June...

Sound system was amazing. I had a blast. The dj was awesome. Drinks were good. Most bartenders were kept busy and were very efficient but the one downstairs in the actual venue was lame. Crowd was very friendly. It was a fun place to hang out on a thursday night.

Food: they have a restaurant opened during day aswell, not baad actually I pretty enjoyed it
Service:  6/10 guys are on the entrance and than they make a walk sometimes inside but fairly discrete.

Temperature: 5/10 for a boat not so bad
Smoking room: 7/10 outside on the boat it is always nice
Toilettes: 7/10 pretty good but you will still wait for your turn
Enterance fees: 10-20e
ps.: they have two nice fish tanks and some type of game consoles for entertainment

One of my favorite techno club in Paris.
Batofar is a night boat club, it's small cosy place with nice people. Their is three bars and one stage. The line up rarely bad.
