Ended up here night of my hen in Madrid with 14 friends from Ireland. We queued for about 40 minutes to get in, but it was so worth it. Really friendly club and staff and the music was excellent. There was a band on first then a dj. The drinks were easy to get when the bar staff weren't dancing on the counter ! They were strict not to let too many people in until people left hence the long wait time but it meant there was lots of room in the club which isn't very big. Great night and d love to go back ! So fun!!! We came for one drink at midnight to check it out and didn't leave until 5:30 in the morning! The band was awesome! Played popular 70's, 80's and 90's songs! The bartender had the heaviest pour I've seen in a long time, so you get your money's worth. I would definitely put this on the list if you're looking for something different. I have been here for an event with my company together with our customer. The place is quite nice and we enjoy a lot our evening.The live music was really great with lovely vocalist and professional band.
I have to say I would have preferred if at the end of live music, when moving to recorded one, the volume could decrease to allow people to talk. By the way the experience was positive

Very good rock bar with love musicI really enjoyed this place, it has very good atmosphere, very good rock music, reasonable drink prices and live bands every weekend. I don’t give it a 5 because the layout of the live music is odd and it is difficult to fully appreciate at times the balance of the music, but overall it is great fun

The club is nice. On Saturday night (10pm) the band was good. Great mood. After the band (aprox 12 am) the rock played was also pretty good. As it is free to come in, the beverages are not cheap (4€ for water). 6€ a beer and 10€ above for a drink. Anyways it worth checking it out! I loved the place, and the music too.But to my surprise, the only people wearing a mask were the employees and me.
Of around 70 people who were drinking and dancing, none wore a mask.
The employees turned a blind eye and didn't say a word, an embarrassment to both them and the customers.
I had been waiting for a long time to be able to enjoy live music and I had to go because in that place there was everything but common sense.
A great shame.

One of the best gambling dens of Madrid of its style Rock! If you go soon there is usually live performance and you will not pay entrance. If you go later you will pay entrance and you will do something in line. If you go from 3:00 a lot of queue. The joint is full. The waitresses (they are all women) are friendly, the porters are very educated and sensible people, unlike other places that spare your life. The glasses at € 10, beers 5 or € 6. Run by the same owners as the now-defunct RRR Bar, ThunderCat preserves the same spirit and is here to stay. Its speciality is rock with pop tinges. Local bands play covers of international groups like The Beatles, and Thursdays see Jam Sessions dedicated to pop-rock sounds influenced by the classics of the genre. There are also live concerts and DJ sessions at weekends.
But don’t expect to find sweaty long-hairs and speed metal in this bar for middle-class kids, where the subdued red lighting gives the place an intimate and interesting touch. The clientele is usually thirtysomethings nostalgic for the sound of the '70s, '80s and '90s but open to new rock styles.
