Been to the Sugar Factory a few times now. The feel is very underground, and quite cozy. When there is a dance party, you can dance on stage, which is cool.

The music system is pretty good, loud, but not ear popping.. I am not a technician, so I have no clue how they do that.. but it feels good when you cycle home the next morning at sunset... yay, I can hear the birds!

The drinks are not super expensive, just the normal price for Amsterdam night live. What's cool though is that when you order water, they always ask you if tap water is OK. And of course that is free. So that makes it a bit easier to stay hydrated :)

All in all a nice club, good vibe, nice people... just go there! :)

Don't miss the wicked jazz sounds on Sunday night. A dj is here with jazz musicians and dancers. It's so chilled and the vibe is amazing. All dancers welcome. You won't regret it. Not even on Monday morning. Promise!

The whole club experience was great the music was techno house mix very nice loads of people from different countries drinks were affordable considering that is placed in the center of Amsterdam
But what I liked the most by far the bar tenders they were so polite and nice which helped me a lot while I was struggling to order in English
Really guys thanks so much greetings from.Spain

we been there during the Halloween party, we purchased the ticket online so we didn't have to wait a lot. we stepped in and the place was super crowded. It was bit annoying.
The music was very good, the different DJs toke care of the crowd and to let them on.
after 3 O'clock most of the people went home, and that added unique party scene colored with tough dancing that resulted in better partying. Sadly the party finished at 5 and there was no after party.
you might find better places around the city.

We went on a Sunday evening, it was a special night for Jazz and funk, R&B lovers.. It's opened until 5am on a Sunday night which is great if you want a late drink.. not far from central either. If you want somewhere to go out on a Sunday I'd recommend it, just don't expect any commercial music.

A disco underground. You need to go down in stairs and there is where the place is. Expect some techno and people enjoying the vibe and the music. Pretty dark inside. They have lockers. Take 2 euros in coins to use them.

Loved it! It’s a dark cozy techno club that parties till
7AM. It’s situated north of Amsterdam below the Amsterdam tower and the famous swing. They arrange parties and events every week and you can buy tickets online by downloading an app called RA Guide to skip the queues and maybe get a discount on some events if you book early. You can take the ferry to get there from Amsterdam central.. the ferry works till late during weekends.

Nice club that broke quite quickly into the Amsterdam scene with midstream techno and house parties, with some occasional higher peaks. The atmosphere inside is quite poor, it's basically just a big dark room. It does not feel so special. It totally misses the uniqueness and personality of other discos in the city.

Description

Sugarfactory in Amsterdam is a dynamic, open-minded and creative place where club, live music and theatre meet. The club regularly hosts local and international DJ heroes such as Andre Crom, Lunice and Black Coffee. Sugarfactory is also an upcoming stage for live music, offering the perfect venue for both small and intimate and larger-scaled gigs. The main venue – with its large stage and red velvet curtains - doubles as a great theatre location.

Since the renewed foyer was opened in 2012 – a characteristic and intimate area alongside the main hall – Sugarfactory has been open 7 days a week, starting from early evening and stretching into the night. Inclusion of the extra stage, Sugarfactory serves as a popular springboard for upcoming talent, such as live bands, singer/songwriters and young organizations with remarkable initiatives.
