I consider myself a true techno lover. Fabric, Berghain, Tresor, Awakenings, Time Warp: some of the more familiar places in the techno world, where I've had the best times of my life. I read some positive thing about Goa, so when I visited Rome I thought: well, let's give it a shot. Just to be sure to get in, I even BOUGHT tickets for a 4-day festival (while I only planned to go 2 evenings).
What I experienced there has been one of the saddest moments ever. There was a huge line, except: you could barely call it a line. It was more like a funnel. Meanwhile, there was ONE other line - the "VIP" line - wherein like every minute about 5 guests could enter the club. These guests were NOT ravers. These guests could NOT tell you anything about the line up. It was a very young, 'look-how-interesting-i-am', wannabe jet set audience. They knew the aggressive bouncers and/or some vague club promoters, who then let them in. I stood in line for 3 hours - with tickets i PAID for, while the line was NOT moving at all - until I decided to leave the place. Worst experience ever. My recommendation: don't go here.

I usually hate clubs that charge entrance fees (especially if they don't even include a free drink with it, which the club also did). So it started off rough, but it ended up being one of the coolest clubs I've ever been to in Rome. Drinks are priced fairly considering the average price in Rome (around 10 euros per drink), but the only thing I had to complain about otherwise was the line for the bathroom. Lots of people and not nearly enough space. But the music was awesome and the place was big.

We went on opening night for the 20th anniversary featuring SVEN VÄTH. Getting in was a bit of chaos, but if you are dressed well and are an experienced club goer it should not be a problem. Inside you will find one of the best sound systems in the city, a clean and functional bar area and some great party-people (at least on the night we attended). We had a blast and would go back anytime we are in the city. There are several other clubs in the same block and the people watching is world class. Go for it!

First of all, love the bouncer. I was nervous I wasn't cool enough to get in. He expedited me ahead of others. For no reason. LOVE THAT. Music was incredible - fun place. SUPER LOUD - bring ear plugs. People were younger than me (36), but super nice. Didn't feel too geezerly.

Located in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Rome (that is if you enjoy the sight of rivers of trash flowing through the streets, crowds of people who only shower on holidays and have their hair cut by their one-armed pet cat, and the pleasant smell of devil's lettuce). Upon reaching the club you will find a pleasant surprise, a marvel of the western liberal world - a woman with shoulders wider than Mohammed Ali and an adam's apple big enough to be made into three apple pies to feed a sumo wrestler during bulking period. The complex rhythmical structures of the newest bass boosted pop hits protrude through the spraypainted walls and crash into your eardrums, createing microfractures in your brain, like muy tai fighters make on their shins, slowly but steadily killing your brain cells like comminism in Eastern Europe and Asia.

European level clubs, thanks to live performances by internationally renowned singers and highly sought after musicalities guaranteed by highly professional DJ sets. Very well cared for sound effects and lighting. Many events not to be missed ... at very affordable prices after all.

I've been to this place for a concert, the area is pretty (Ostiense) and the place is quite easy to find. Parking is always a problem but that night I was lucky and I found a place close enough. Internally the place is set up in a very special way and there is a lot of space for dancing. The bathroom was run by a lady at the entrance of the same, I found it an excellent idea to manage a horde of boys and girls. I did not drink anything so I do not know how the piano bar is.

I was there tonight The place is beautiful staff and top security even served us drinks in glass glasses. The serats began with hause, I would say light, then around half past three, sonja moonear arrived and turned the evening upside down and played in an incredible way until 6 am. Top disco we return next weekend.

Description

In 1996 Goa made its home in an ex-motorbike repair shop in the once industrial but now up and coming district of Ostiense. Named after the Indian state of Goa, famous for its full moon parties, the club’s décor follows the same theme. A reputation for electronic house and techno music has earned this spot many local supporters who come to hear resident DJs such as Giancarlino, Fabrizio Sala and Adiel.
