Excellent venue for feeling the real urban pulse of this modern city. Off the tourist trail and if you decide to go... keep an open mind. This is where the locals go so its definitely recommended. It consists of 2 areas, the normal bar-restaurant which is always open and the venue arena next door for mind opening gigs. Alternative younger crowd.

I was recommended to call in the Six Dogs and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a great friendly bar which has a large well planted outdoor courtyard area with which is unexpected from looking at the back street bar entrance. Accessing the bar wasn’t the best with the whole of the street being excavated - at least I didn’t fall down the trenches It was well worth the visit & drinks. Service by Georgia was brilliant. Make it a definite for a drop in.

This was a really awesome place to visit. To start, the venue itself is really cool. The first thing you notice are the stairs, which are a cool place to take pictures. Then you notice the sand for the floor. This was my first time ever at a bar and I was not disappointed. While my friends and I only had one drink, the cocktail that I got was SO good!!! I would highly recommend this place! The only downside is that it’s very popular and quite crowded.

There is a beautiful yard surrounded by old buildings and trees in the centre of athens which is used as an allday bar - cafe and resataurant
But at night the club area is unbelievable
After the renovation they did they made it bigger with the great sound
Also they are doing great parties with international djs
If you are in town and want to go clubbing you have to visit it !!!

We spent here the last night of our city trip to Athens. I have read about this place in a travel blog but it was nevertheless difficult to find because it is hidden in a small side road even though it is in the center of Athens.
This bar is really busy but if you wait a little bit you get a table because there are always people coming and going. The location is really cool because it's in a backyard/ courtyard and very nicely decorated with lights everywhere.
The crowd there is a mix of young and hip people. Mainly locals in my opinion but also tourists.

We visited six d.o.g.s during the daytime and enjoyed the wonderful outdoor patio (which was covered and heated during our winter-time visit). Great place for a drink during the daytime. The server was a wonderful young lady who was very helpful, attentive and friendly. We didn't get to experience the venue at nighttime but they apparently have live music, DJs, comedy shows, etc.

The place is cozy and comfortable and.

There is warming equipment for the old winter time.

But there are a little slow for bringing the orders.

One of the best places for drinks in Athens! Definitely a hidden gem; perfect for an afternoon stop or a relaxing evening. The service was amazing and we really appreciated the recommendations made by our waitress.
The place has a unique atmosphere that won’t disappoint- second time in Athens, second time to six d.o.g.s and every time we’ve been amazed.
Highly recommend it and I will be back.

Absolutely amazing. I love that it is focused on sustainability, the interior is lovely, the little courtyard adorable. Everything we ate was good, the burger, wrap, smoothie was amazing, coffee surprisingly not so great but maybe that's just me. The staff was nice. Loved the place and coming back for sure.

Really cool place. We ordered three cocktails - Holy Water, Fountain and Harmony, and all of them were excellent. The food was also good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I highly recommend their cocktails. They have some great cocktails. If you like cocktail with tropical flavor, try the redemption, rebirth, or the fountain. The balance is perfect - not overly sweet or sour. The bartender and staff are very friendly. Enjoy a nice drink in the wonderful and hispter environment before you head out for dinner.
