I wish I could give this place zero stars! Not like my review will negatively impact them anyways, but I will speak my truth. I've been living in Madrid for a month now as an English teacher and have dealt with some insane amounts of racism and have kept it away from my family back home but today was just the icing on the cake.

A friend of mine and her girlfriends were visiting from France and some after we had some tapas and visiting a couple of places, we decided to check this place out. When we arrived, there was a line and we stood in it as is normal but the bouncers let everyone in but when it was our turn, he pulled the 4 of us out of line and asked about our invitation. The ladies thought it was strange he didn't ask anyone else for invitations but I already knew what it was; I was the WRONG COLOR. But, eager than jump to conclusions, we found someone with an invitation and joined him, but once again were pulled out of line. I tried speaking to the bouncers in Spanish, trying to ask what the problem was but they insisted that they couldn't understand what I was saying. So I motioned to speak to them in English which I knew the spoke but they once again acted as though they couldn't understand me. It was clear that my SKIN COLOR was the problem but because they kept asking my group specifically about our invitation, my friends went up to talk to them after I had a heated conversation with them which was profanity laced. They told my female friends (ALL WHITE) that they could come in but I wasn't allowed in there. They had no problem acknowledging their racism. Once I started screaming and telling everyone how racist they were, they called for their black employee and pointed at him saying how can we be racist, we have a black guy working in here ‍.

I will never visit this establishment ever again )not that I can lol) and want to make sure my white friends out of respect for me, never visit this place. I will be going back to take pictures of this Shit institution and will be posting it for everyone to see.

So remember, if you're not white looking, don't come to this RACIST ass place

As an American have never experience this even in the USA people talk about racism but this place is VERY VERY RACIST,  be aware that security guys will be very rude even grabbing people guys or girls and putting them out of the Line just because the are not SPANISH meaning from Spain, rude staff, overcharge and the most RACIST CLUB Poor Poor service. They just choose the girls they like to let them in and people need to be so overdressed to get in.  RACIST RACIST RACIST!! They told us there was an special even and that we needed an invite every body was getting in anyways so it's just RACISM if u are not a liking of security your entrance will be denied with the most stupid excuses, they denied because the way your dressed if you are darker skin color or even because your nationality.

I can see why people like this place, but for me its not my cup of tea.  I have to be honest and say that most big clubs are not for me, but for those that like several floors of music and dancing than you might be happy to find this club.  We were in the hip hop section and got a table for my friends birthday, which was around 50 euros per person.  I just could not see the hype.  The crowd was ok but nothing special.  The same could be said for the type of music . Regular entry was also really expensive . Especially when you consider that the cost of living in spain is really low and it does not cost much to go into most places. 30 euros for entry which included 2 drinks.  there was also also the option to enter for 25 euros which would include 1 drink.  Definitely not worth it to me.

Teatro Kapital was the final club on my pub crawl and it was fantastic. It was a huge place and the music was really good.

I would definitely say it’s one of the nicer clubs I’ve been to. Their door policy did seem a little selective though, and the guy in front of me in the line, who I met at the pub crawl was denied entry.

But it’s definitely not racist. I’m indian and brown and has absolutely no problems getting in, or with any of the staff inside. The bar staff were quite polite to be honest, but the drinks were pricey.

A must go if you’re in Madrid! Cheers.

My friend and I (we are Chinese but both live in the UK) we were trying to enter the club with the downloaded QR code without holding our UK ID card. However, after we answered the bouncer we are from China , he didn’t let us in and were making fun of us that we are from China !!! Then we tried to enter with another group of white girls and we showed our UK card immediately , he finally let us in but wtf is it ???? We cannot enter while being Chinese ?? A Latin American girl in front of us was refused as well !! Will never go there again

Door control was pretty quick and good may because i was there early, the music was good and diverse. The shows that takes place in the middle of the party were very innovate and pretty rave , they had this guy dancing on a pole from the ceiling also there were flamingo dancers who were amazing. The night was early but the program was full. I had to leave early but the it was a memorable night in the largest teatro in Madrid.

Horrible treatment for foreigners visiting just wanting to have some fun.
Visited the club on March 10, 2019 after putting our names on the guest for a promotion 25 euros for entrance with 2 drinks. Price online was very acceptable and willing to pay that. After waiting 45 minutes in line approached entrance and was met by a bouncer who advised price was now 50$ euros. When attempted to inquire why the price had changed security guard advised either pay or go. Then pushed me out of line, very unprofessional and aggressive. Foreigners behind us from Germany were also pushed out and treated the same. Please avoid this club

Touristy and over-hyped
Kapital is good fun, but full of tourists and pushy guys who wont take no for an answer. I enjoyed myself, but wouldn't go again - I'd much rather hit up one of the more local spots in Madrid where people are there for a good time, not just trying to get drunk and laid.

Amazing club!
What a night! It's the best club in Madrid without any doubt, and one of the best I've ever been too. There's good drinks, good music and good personale. On top of that there was 7 different floors, with a Sky Lounge at top. The cue also isn't that bad, as we got into the club within a couple of minutes. I can only recommend you to visit this club for a good night out!

The myth of the Kapital has long gone. What this place was a decade ago is now only a memory in the mind of those who had the luck to enjoy it. Now a parking pre party for 14 years old guys and nothing but a noisy and dirty dark place.... it looks like being in a sad party. There are much better options in Madrid

This is an amazing club. We partied all night. The shows were superb. Nothing like the clubs back home where you only have a DJ and bar. This club is five stories high with multiple levels of DJS and music. The four stars is because people  can drink there until they are trashed and not kicked out. I told a trashed Frenchman no to dancing because he was too wasted and his response was to smash his glass on the floor shattering big chunks of glass everywhere and walk away rejected. This is not a good image for a club. There should have been staff dealing with him the minute he smashed his glass. He was still in the club two hours later when I left. I also saw some patrons doing ecstacy. That should also not be tolerated.
